Toledo Preview
May 18, 2007
Rob Bunker will be back behind the wheel of the #4 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge Charger this weekend in Toledo. Cunningham Motorsports is a Dodge Development team and Rob shares the driving responsibilities with a few other drivers. This will be Bunker’s weekend to shine and prove what kind of racecar driver he is becoming. Shifting from the open wheel ranks, Bunker has had a great deal of obstacles to overcome in the stock cars. “The cars, the drivers, and the entire process of stock car racing have been a learning experience for me. Every race I learn something new and I am beginning to find more comfort and confidence each time I get behind the wheel of the #4 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge Charger,” explained Bunker.
"I know that we can finish the event with a fantastic finish for the #4 Dodge Motorsports Dodge Charger team."
“Toledo should make for quite an interesting race. I am ecstatic to be associated with the great group of individuals within the Cunningham organization. We hope to gain a lot of momentum this weekend. We are using somewhat of a Formula Car approach from the preparation standpoint. What I mean is that the feedback will be much more intense and a lot more emphasis is going to be placed on the engineering aspect. With a little bit of luck and staying on the lead lap I believe there will be a whole lot of knowledge retained. This type of racing is very challenging, but enjoyable at the same time. I know that we can finish the event with a fantastic finish for the #4 Dodge Motorsports Dodge Charger team,” said Bunker.
